About Adopting Dogs from Us

Adoptology is a 501(c)(3) non-profit so we do not charge adoption fees. However, we do require a donation for each dog we place, which is tax deductible for you

Step One: Complete Application

You may submit the adoption application below for the specific dog you have your heart set on and pick up directly from us in New York or Connecticut. When you submit your application, within 5 days we will be in touch to answer your questions and talk more about the dog you’d like to adopt!

PLEASE BE SURE to check your email regularly after submitting the application, as that is how we will issue your approval to adopt. We have several volunteers who process applications as they come in, and so if you do not respond promptly to us there is a chance that the dog will be adopted by another applicant.

Until your adoption is finalized (approval, payment and contract) the dog is not reserved.
